This event has come to an end. We're excited to welcome you back in 2025!
Training classes will start on Wednesday, April 17th after lunch and end at noon on Friday, April 19th. To register for training, please select this option when you register for the conference. Breakfast, breaks, and lunch will be provided each day. Below are the training schedule and class descriptions. If you register for training, please also plan to bring a laptop computer with you. Our training classes do not require you to install any special software. The only requirements are Wi-Fi connectivity and a browser such as Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge Chromium, or Safari for Apple devices. You are welcome to attend these classes without bringing your own computer. However, to get the most out of these classes, we highly recommend this as most of these sessions include time for hands-on exercises.

12:00 PM – 1:00 PM | Lunch at leisure
A boxed lunch will be provided for participants that are heading to the airport, and those with a brief turn-around time into the training sessions.
1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | LabVantage Power Tips & Tricks – Also offered Friday morning

1:00 PM – 5:00 PM | Under the Hood of OOB Diagnostics Workflows
In this training, you will learn how the out of the box OMICS workflows are configured and how to set up the necessary master data. The intent of the component is to support genomics, proteomics, metabolomics, metagenomics, phenomics and transcriptomics and the library tasks we have can support these workflows. At present we only have Genomics and Proteomics workflows out of the box in the component. You will also learn how the workflows behavior change by just adjusting the existing master data or for new master data. You will learn about the workflow task library and how you can build simple workflows using them. Users will also learn about Manual Array Data Entry and other alternatives like DFD or SDMS for Data Entry (this training will not cover DFD or SDMS training). At the end of the session, you will leave with a good understanding of OMICS workflows, Array, Array Data Entry and Consumable Modules.
